How they got here: Beat Pittsford 4-0 and Fairport 3-2 in the Section 5 title game. Beat Niagra-Wheatfield 3-2 in a regional final.
Scarsdale’s top line has accounted for 63 percent of its goals. Mcquaid’s top line has accounted for 49 percent of its goals. … The Knights won a state championship in 2005 with a 7-3 win over Baldwinsville. … Only four Westchester teams have ever won a NYSPHSAA semifinal, Rye (1982), Mamaroneck (2009), Pelham (2009) and John Jay (2013). All of them lost in the championship game. … Both teams have a future Division I golfer on the roster. The Raiders’ James Nicholas is headed for Yale, where he will also play football. The Knights Connor Raeman is committed to Penn State.
