How do you top last night’s action?
I’ll be heading down to Playland for one last rivalry game in a week filled with familiar matchups – Iona Prep vs. Fordham Prep. The Gaels lost their mojo somewhere along the way, so I’m sure they’d like to get a running start heading into the playoffs.
You can follow me @lohudhockey for updates.
Keep us posted if you’re out watching, please. It’s a busy time.
Lastly, we need stick taps. There were only a few open seats in Sport-O-Rama last night, and I’m told Mahopac and Carmel filled Brewster Ice Arena to capacity. That’s pretty impressive. Hockey is expensive and when school administrators see big crowds, they are reluctant to make cuts.
