It’s been a busy week so I’ve enlisted the help of an insider on this one … he wears No. 9 on the ice just in case you want to cheer for a good kid.

The Byram Hills Bobcats will take to the ice tomorrow night at Brewster Ice Arena for a game that is bigger than hockey itself. We are hosting Fox Lane in the third annual Rumble for the Ribbon Cup, a game that is focused on Breast Cancer Awareness. Faceoff is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. All of the donations that occur throughout the week in school and at the game will be given to the American Cancer Society for breast cancer research.
Anyone who goes to the game will have the opportunity to donate in all types of ways. There will be shirts, bracelets and baked goods for sale. All of the proceeds from the chuck-a-puck contest will go to the charity.
Last year, the Bobcats edged the Foxes in a great game and took the cup home while raising $3,800 dollars for the cause. We are hoping to raise at least that amount this year, and any help would be greatly appreciated.
