I can feel my toes again!
When the hockey diehards are complaining about the cold, it’s officially cold. The weather did not keep many away from the rink last night and it was nice having some atmosphere at E.J. Murray for the Scarsdale-Mamaroneck game.
If you read my game story in The Journal News, check the blog version. There are no space restrictions online so I threw in a couple of extra quotes. There is one important correction to be made to the print story … I did not hear James Nicholas correctly when he was describing the winning goal. He jumped into the glass where the father of teammate Devon Schell was looking on, not where Suffern coach Rob Schelling was standing. My apologies on that one.
Look for the latest power rankings later in the day. I’m taking a day off, so if you’re out watching, send a score along, please.
