In his postseason debut, sophomore forward Will Kirk scored the first three goals of the game. A stifling defensive effort led by seniors Brian Schiff and Cooper Lavan held the Red Raiders to 18 shots on goal. Will Arbo and John Wojciechowski had the other Mamaroneck goals.
Scarsdale 6, Mahopac 1
James Nicholas netted a pair of goals in the first period to help the Raiders jump out to a 3-0 lead. He finished with three goals and two assists. Devon Schell, James Blakely and Stephen Nicholas also scored for the Scarsdale. The Indians put just 12 shots on goal. Rob Buckley had the Mahopac goal.
Suffern 11, New Rochelle 3
It only took 28 seconds for the Mounties to get in front. Justin Tiso helped put the Huguenots in an 8-0 hole before the first period ended, getting four goals. Kenny McLean scored all three New Rochelle goals.
White Plains 9, Clarkstown 0
Matt Conroy finished with two goals and three assists to lead the Tigers. Phil Variano also scored twice for White Plains, which grabbed an early 3-0 lead and never let momentum get away. Chris Stangarone came up with 33 saves in the shutout.
