I’m making up for lost time and covering two games today, starting with Pearl River vs. Greeley, a matchup that could easily be repeated deep in the sectional playoffs. That game will get space tomorrow in The Journal News. I’m going back for Somers/North Salem vs. John Jay, which is an important league game for both teams. That game will be on Lohud.com later on.
The more I see of the top Division II teams, the more I’m convinced we’re going to have a memorable postseason. Somebody is going to have to beat three quality opponents to win a Section 1 title.
Leave a score if you’re out watching. I’ll be tweeting updates and passing along whatever news I come across @LohudHockey.
And don’t forget to celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
