Clarkstown has improved noticeably since the beginning of the season and is putting a five game winning streak on the line when it hosts Suffern.
While the Mallrats have plenty of depth, I’m not sure it’s going to be a big help. All season long, I’ve watched teams give up early goals against Kevin Hill and Co. And part of the reason is they roll three lines hoping to keep the energy level up and fail to match up with the Mounties’ top line.
The other big game today is Rye Country Day and Harvey, two rivals gunning for an FAA title. If you combined the White Plains and Yorktown rosters, you might win a Section 1 title.
I’m working on a big Super Bowl story again, so keep us posted if you’re out watching.
