The New York Raptors, a team you’ve likely read about in past years that is part of the American Special Hockey Association, is hosting its second annual Winter Classic on Saturday from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Ebersole Ice Rink. It’s a major fundraiser for the program. There will be a number of ways for spectators to help out.
A silent auction includes signed jerseys from the likes of former Ranger John Vanbiesbrouck to current Blackhawks stars Jonathon Toews and Patrick Kane. There’s a signed photo from Henrik Lundqvist along with a Rangers team photo. A 50-50 raffle will take place, and there will be to Chuck-a-Puck contests with Rangers tickets as prizes.
