There should be a line out the door at Sport-O-Rama this evening.
Pelham is paying Suffern a visit and I’m expecting an instant classic. It’s usually a good matchup, but this year I sense these teams are closer than usual. Do the comparison, there aren’t many distinct advantages. The Mounties have a better goaltender. The Pelican have more depth.
I’ll be tweeting updates the entire game, and we’re going to attempt to get this one in the paper although I’m going to have about 10 minutes to write it up before deadline. Either way, there will be plenty of coverage on Lohud.com and here on the blog.
Let us know the score of whatever game you’re watching tonight because there are some good ones.
Greeley will be running the proverbial gauntlet this weekend. The Quakers are taking a two game losing streak into this afternoon’s game against Pawling, and they follow up with showdowns against Somers/North Salem and John Jay. Those kids are going to need a long winter’s nap on Monday.
It’s too bad John Jay and Mahopac drew the early slot, that’s a game with league title implications. King and RCDS have a good thing going, so that’s a game to check out if you’re in the neighborhood.
