Chris Stangarone, White Plains
The junior goalie faced 67 shots in three games during the White Plains Tigers Thanksgiving Tournament, allowing just four goals. His best game of the weekend came against rival Stepinac. After giving up an early goal, Stangarone kept his team within range until the offense got rolling and pulled out a 3-1 victory.
Brian Carducci, Mamaroneck: He post a .900 save percentage in his first two varsity games, falling 2-0 against Shaker and winning 7-4 against Bethlehem.
Tim Cavanagh, Clarkstown: He shutout Monroe-Woodbury on Saturday in his second varsity start. The freshman also had a shutout when he left after 22 1/2 minutes against ETB.
Wilson McCloy, Somers/North Salem: He dished out three assists Friday in a win over Ossining and scored the game-winning goal on Saturday against Yorktown.
Phil Variano, White Plains: He got four goals in a win over Harvey and totaled five goals and five assists in three games over the weekend.
Wyatt Zuk, Stepinac: He gave the Crusaders an early lead against White Plains on Saturday, and scored two more on Sunday in a comeback win over Sleepy Hollow.
