Saratoga goalie has a streak of 158 min of shut out hockey. Didn’t allow a goal in 3 playoff games. He also believes they have a great chance of beating Suffern, that they are not as deep as his Saratoga team. We’ll see. They are a good team

Jay should win a close, low scoring affair.
The J loss to rye was really a tough 2-1 win for Rye not counting the 2 empty netters.
Did JJ leave today for the game or are they trekking it up tomorrow?
JJ is leaving tomorrow
Thanks, would of liked to see them leave tonight and be well rested.
Good Luck JJ!
It’s only about a 2.5 hour ride. They could all sleep in, leave at 9 or 10 in the morning and still get to Lake George with plenty of time to relax and rest up before the game. It’s not like they’re driving to Rochester.
Is 3 hours and 15 minutes. Albany is 2 hours and 15 minutes. Jay should win, but huge disadvantage trying to come off a bus and play
I agree they should have gone up night before. Good luck JJ
any type of radio broadcast, etc for the Jay game?
I wonder if that big sheet of ice up there will help JJ or hurt them.
@slax – Didn’t see any links, if you find any pass em along.
Ta-Da
It could very well hurt them more than help JJ
Thinking that… They have good team speed, which will help on a big sheet, wonder if they have enough depth.
The Spartans Teddy Nolan currently has a 144 minute shutout streak as they have shut out their last three opponents. He is a freshman, and should get better as the years go by.
John Jay-Cross River should challenge that and would make for a quality opponent for the Spartans to face. I would be surprised if his streak makes it to 189 minutes, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the Spartans used their home-ice advantage to bring them to Utica next week.
But on the same token, I wouldn’t be surprised if John Jay walks away with a win.
Should be a good game.
John Jay on their way to Utica 4-2 over Queensbury
