I’ve got about 20 inches of postcard-worthy snow in my neck of the woods, and digging out will be a process. There’s at least one game that’s going to be played today, Sleepy & Co. vs. Lakeland/Panas. I don’t have definitive word on the other two games on the list. The roads should be in decent shape by this evening once the wind stops blowing.

I’m staying in tonight, but will be making the long commute to BIA tomorrow night for John Jay and Hen Hud. I’ll be doing a couple of games leading up to the seeding meeting on Thursday, and we’ll do one last live chat that evening to discuss the playoffs and make some first-round picks.

I still get psyed up when any section 1 Team plays Massena, who I still consider, the ‘bellweather’ High School hockey program in the State! Too bad it was cancelled!

Next Saturday Massena has either Canton or Salmon River depending on how Potsdam does against OFA on Tuesday. Section 10 Finals at Clarkson on Feb 24.
The Pelham Massena games have been quite good. Pelhams coaches have been there forever and understand the tradition and success of Massenas program. I am sure they will be back there, they have gone every year. I think the teams have split in their games agianst each other. good luck to the two programs
Massena gets St Joe’s of Buffalo today. Should be interesting. Joe’s beat Salmon River 10-0 yesterday.
