Right now, Somers/North Salem is very much in control of Conference 1-A, and could very will put a league title on lock down with a win over Lakeland/Panas. It’s a pretty good matchup between similar teams. The Rebels, though, will be going without their leading scorer who took a DQ after getting tangled up in a period-ending skirmish during the RTH game on Saturday.

Carmel beat Mahopac…. then Nyack TZ (who got smoked 7-0 by Pearl River) beats Carmel 2-1.

5 hole, with all due respect, I keep hearing how good the team is, and the coaches are… but the results are not pretty. John Jay seems to have taken the mantle as far as who the best team in BIA this year.
pac is all talk, like they are the best team around, thats until they start to go downhill. then they mysteriously disappear.

no doubt they probably belong but they need to play and beat a ranked team once in a while. They have Rye coming up, if they win that should get them in. They don`t and have never scheduled Mamaroneck Suffern Pelham or any of the out of section ranked teams
Not playing upstate early in the season makes it hard to be ranked, no one knows who you are…
Not surprised that J not in rankings at this point. They need to at least beat Rye and that may not be enough as J just isn’t a recognized name in state hockey circles yet. Maybe if they win and win again upstate, could make the difference

LP pays the price for being undisciplined again. No control over there, seems like they have more players suspended than any other team this season. Haven’t we been down this road before with this team.

Five penalties in a game will get you thrown out of the game, but you do not have to sit the next one.
