We’re back in holiday mode with no games to be played. I’m thinking New Year’s Day would be a great time for a classic rivalry game, like we used to have on Thanksgiving Day with football. How cool would it be to watch Rye and Pelham or Mamaroneck and Suffern go head-to-head. And for some additional atmosphere they should play the game in the elements, say at Ebersole.
Just thinking out loud.
Enjoy whatever you’re doing tonight and tomorrow. I’ve already bought enough snack food to last until the next millennium. For the next two days, I’ll be in front of the flat screen. Happy New Year.

Happy New Year to you and yours Mike!
why did lp forfeit?
Not enough players showed up for the game. You need to have 9 skaters and a goalie minimum, and they only had 8. And a goalie.

Happy New Years Everyone!
Happy New Year hockey bloggers! May we all be happier and healthier than last year.
Pelicanation: Sorry for the delay in responding to you. I was ushering the kids around to various activities and spending some quiet time with my husband (not Grammarati—sorry to disappoint. Although he does get my conjunctions and dangling modifiers in a bunch). To answer your questions: The answer to the riddle for Section Won was, “puck off.” As for the federally funded agency I was referring to (Former Gov. Palin was a charter member) is DEMEBO—Defending Every Mothers’ Essential Blogging Opportunities. I figured Anon needed a refresher course on the power of the political lobby. Lastly, I will be at the big game on Friday night wearing this outfit: http://www.chinookpta.com/images/manon_rheaume.jpg
