It’s another quiet day.
We do have one game, ETB and RTH, who both lost all-stars to graduation. It’s not exactly a rivalry game, but these squads do go pretty hard after each other. Send along updates if you’re down at the Ice Hutch later tonight. I’m back in the game tomorrow. Here’s what I’ve got planned for the rest of the week …
Wednesday – Sleepy Hollow/Irvington/Dobbs Ferry vs. Nyack/Tappan Zee
Friday – Mamaroneck vs. Mahopac
Saturday – Iona Prep vs. Greeley
Sunday – Lakeland/Panas vs. Yorktown
I’m thinking we might have to have a live chat somewhere in the near future, I’ll keep you all posted on that.

With head coach Daniel Peritto this Greeley team has made a name for themselves. With a +24 goal differential in 3 games this team must be a top contender. there first line led by Ethan Hect is not one to be messed with. I would like to see them beat suffern this year and put a 10 spot on the board.

Pac vs. Mamaroneck and Greeley vs. Iona Prep is intriguing. IF Pac and Greeley win, we will heal alot of chirping from the BIA house league.
But if Mamk and Iona win convincingly, it will put a lock on the lips of all the BIA faithful.
Greeley won’t be playing Suffern this season. The Quakers are solid and have a very easy schedule. Only Iona, Rye and Jay pose a threat. Could easily see them as a two or three seed playing someone like Pelham as a 6 or 7 seed (due to their brutal schedule) in the quarters. Remember Pelham was a 6 seed two years ago wih ther young team manning up to play a big schedule. Could see a similar seeding situation again this year. I see the Quakers scoring in bunches against most of their regular season competition, but struggling to score against teams like Rye and Jay and Pelham (if they meet in the playoffs). No 10 spot against any of those 3 teams mentoned.

The game was cacelled. One of the 800 schools involved in the two mergers cancelled all after school activities, so they couldn’t play the game.
I agree with fanotgame. I would like to see them play the teams mentioned above before I put them in that class

Cancellations are disturbing sometimes when the weather really isn’t bad, however the schools always go the extra mile on the premise that they are protecting the kids, when they cancel after school activities because it may be snowing at that time, they also cancel evening activities. It is what it is.
