High school ice hockey in the Lower Hudson Valley

LoHud Hockey Soundtrack

I’ve long had a great appreciation for all things Celtic – folk or standards or rock or punk – I listen to all of it. And before I discovered the Pogues, I was big into Mike Scott and the Waterboys. They never enjoyed great commercial success but influenced a lot of people like Eddie Vedder and Bono. This is by far my favorite Waterboys song.

    Mike ,

did you see these guys on a night out in Indy?

How about the passing of Don Cornelius this week. After Saturday morning cartoons, often caught some Soul Train. Inspired my pretty respectable “robot” dance moves and who who hasn’t participated in a Soul Train dance line at a family wedding or bar mitzvah.

    Icehole –
No Waterboys. I did see Darius Rucker, and LMFAO was all over town.
