It’s kind of a quiet Saturday with the exception of Pelham at Mamaroneck, which is always going to be a marquee game no matter who’s on the ice. Clarkstown and Ithaca could be a decent match up, too. I’m going to be at Hommocks looking for Bigby’s car, so check the Twitter feed in case there’s enough of a cell signal to provide updates. The game will end after deadline, so check the blog for a story. We’ll get a story in the Monday paper, as well. And then I’m on a short hockey hiatus. I’m going to be doing the blog from Indianapolis next week, and will get some help on this end from Brian Heyman.

tonights game was a nightmare for Mamaroneck. They were unable to muster up any offense at all. Pelham had 6 goals in the second period with I thought was by 6 different goal scorers. Mamaronecks only chances came very early in the first but Pelhams goalie came up huge. Mamaroneck has Suffern next. Pelham has Rye next week.
Since Pelham lost to the Mounties Pelham is 5-2 allowing only 5 goals against in those 7 games.
