Geez. Let’s keep this post st Antony free. As much as someone keeps saying Monroe Woodbury is down this year, they would easily be the second best d1 team in section one if they were in our section. If their coaching staff had more drive and umph, they would be a state contender every year. They SEEM apathetic, but maybe they just have a Tom Landry quiet genius thing going.
ETB plays MW next week, should get a sense of wether or not that statement is actually true or not.
@ ok…MW has no “Tom Landry” quiet genius thing going on. Coaching is non-existent. MW is down big time this year. Obviously the other Section 1 teams are down much more. MW benefits by having every kid on the team playing some form of travel hockey. Most HS programs don’t have this luxury.
all good hs teams have travel players.
Dah..the point being MW has no coaching. They benefit from having all travel players (good or bad). If these Tom Landry genius had to coach a team like Newburgh (2 or 3 travel kids) they would be winless and unemployed!
