Q & A with Trezza
How did you get better at the end of the season? “We finally gout our full team back. We had some injuries. We had a few kids away in the middle of the season. We had a kid in Europe for a school trip. It’s been kind of a funny season. We had a couple of strong games against some pretty good teams. We lost to Clarkstown 6-5 and tied Harvey 2-2, so that was good. We’re starting to play well.”
Did you get a look at Pelham last weekend at West Point? “The whole team was up at West Point watching. They’re a good team, well-coached. They play a nice defensive trap and look like they’re a physical team?”
What do you have to do to be successful? We need to keep the puck out of the net and control our zone. We need to generate some offense against a team that doesn’t give up much. I have seven seniors and most of them have been upstate with us, went to Utica a couple years ago and played in the regional game last year, so they have some experience with this.”
