Mamaroneck is ranked third in Division I in the latest New York State Sportswriters Association poll. Suffern is fifth. It’s never to early to point out the fact that they will meet on Jan. 9 at Hommocks for the first time this season.
Rye is ranked seventh in Division II.
For a complete list of rankings, go to the NYSSWA website. Click here. I would cut and paste, but they put in the work compiling the list, so they deserve a click if you’re interested.

Mamaroneck’s first 2 lines are really flying right now. Conner, Naclerio, Hagan, Chap, and Schiff are all over the ice making smart, crisp passes and scoring from all over.
Mike – Will the January 9th Suffern/Mamaroneck game be webcast on this site?
Old School
The plans for next week are still being mapped out, I’ll let you know when I hear something.
I hope its on webcast as games were last season.. that was great…
does anybody know how the suffern game is going
Go Suffern
i heard from someone at the game that it is 1-0 Suffern after 2. no info on who scored tho
This is going to be a long year on the blog. Can’t seem to get any updates. Anyone have a score on the Suffern-NH game?? Please
5-0 suffern final
Suffern wins 5-0 in a game who’s final score is not indicative of the action on the ice. Northern Highlands played a spirited game and kept Suffern’s offense in check until late in the game. NH seemed like they got tired in the third period and the relentless Suffern offense took over the game. Suffern’s defense was once again suffocating and with the help of their backchecking forwards, it proved to be too much for Highlands. Suffern’s goaltender had more work tonight and he was up to the task, recording another shutout and in my opinion, deserved the tournament MVP.
All in all, a good tournament and a great tune-up for the Mounties as they head into a challenging stretch against state-ranked opponents.
the crazy train is rolling watch out mamk
Saw Nor Highlands play, “Suff hock” Mamaroneck would beat that team 10 to 1, tour on the wrong train
L/P must have lost as we have heard nothing on the blogs
Mike…...How did you vote?

Talking about Bethlehem Hockey
Bethlehem Hockey

Bethlehem is a very strong team. There are lead in points by Captian Steve Russon, Kyle Barach, and Derek Barach. All are very speedy and can score basically on demand. Not to mention Derek Barach is a freshman and prolly THE best one in the state, Best in Section 2, hands down.
and here is a response:
Barach
